The Ork's Last Stand on Ulant

 Following the defeat of the Greenskins at the Shrines, the Imperial Forces pushed on to smash their final holdings on the Hive World, Ulant. With the departure of the Bad Moons under their WarBoss Uthak Blackhawk, the much weakened Evil Sunz were forced to follow the Blood Axe WarBoss Uzrog Trakeye. The last stronghold for both Clans was Codenamed Cobalt by the Imperium. This was that battle...

On the Ork right Flank, more Krieg and Ogryns have unloaded, while here too, the Battlewagon has taken numerous hits...

Even the Gorkanaut has been hit. Unfortunately it moved beyond the assistance of its Mek (seen to the lower left)...

The Grots and their tanks charge into the Krieg and Ogryns and take down some. The Chimera take some hits as well. But they are then annihilated in return...

The Grot Mega Tank charges into the LemanRus but all of its damage (9 pts) are self-inflicted by overloading Plasma!

The Battlewagon with the Greenskins left flanks charges and nearly wipes out three Ogryns; but it too pays the price as Imperial tanks brew it up...

The SquigBoyz are pushing on, preparing for their charge...

The Imperium strikes hard, downing a Dreff Dredd, Grot Mega Tank and some Squigs while losing another Chimera...

Then the Gorganaut destroys yet another Chimera...

The Gargantuan Squiggoth charges and takes down another Chimera...

The Mega Dredd charges and destroys the final Chimera, while the Monster Squigs take on the Baneblade which just appeared...

While the Gorganaut devastates a large Krieg unit, it fails to charge home (by a single inch!) and then gets laid low by the Imperium...

During the same charge phase, the Stompa failed its charge by two inches and now has only a few hit points remaining. And talking about a really bad phase, the Super Stumpa fails its charge by two inches!...

Mega Models

 Two Miniatures (?!) purchased from Wargame Exclusive out of the Ukraine. I have purchased hundreds/dollars worth of figs from these guys and its a wonderfully stocked site. Give it a look through. Takes between 2-5 weeks to ship to Colorada, USA, but its well worth it.

The Imperium Strikes Back!

A Greenskin settlement has been established outside of St  Ioastas, while an armored strike force has been raised to destroy the abominations. Leman Rus (r&l), Rogal Dorn (off table), a Sentinel and Chimeras (c) stride forth...

The Blood Axe Orks scramble to the alert they are under attack. Five mobs inside buildings/towers, with artillery on top, Killa Kans (c), Squigriders (l), Squigs and their attendants (r) and Battlewagon (r)...

First score to the Imperium as a blast destroys a Lobba as well as its entire crew...

As the Greenskins pour out to attack, two Kans are lost as well...

The Chimera is almost destroyed, as the Krieg soldiers disembark...

The last Killer Kans are destroyed as well as a Squig and handler, but the remainder inflict damage on a second Chimera, and Beast Snagga Boyz move up to charge...

After taking some losses as the Krieg Engineers (t-r) sent a mobile mine at them(which are partially restored by a Painboy, a Mob charges the Krieg and Chimera, destroying the latter and nearly wiping out the Krieg (inc some of its Command)...

The Rogal Dorn tanks make their appearance, while the Battlewagon barely survives another turn...

More Krieg disembark, while more Boyz move up...

While the Warwagon finally losses its final point, the Irks charge and destroy a Chimera...

Another Greenskin charge takes down the last Chimera as well as inflicting heavy losses on another Krieg unit...

The Ogryns make their presence felt, nearly wiping out a mob with their devastating shooting and melee. The Greenskins do manage to drop two however...

Before the victorious Mob and their Squigsaurs can make a move, the armor destroys them (saves the Krieg Command). The Monster Squigs  smash up the remaining Krieg unit (t)...

However, the Orks come crashing down, when the WarBoss and his entire MegaNobz bodyguard (l) are annihilated by the armor! Shockingly abrupt end to the fight...
