Upon receiving a vox transmission from the PDF team in Gaviah II, a mobile force consisting of two Chimeras with 2x squads of ten men each, and an armored Sentinel, were ordered from the Capital to threatened Gaviah.

The Cultists lead by Jackels bikes and quads, followed by Ridgerunners...
First blood to the PDF, taking out numerous Cultists bikes...
The Cultists bring up their Cargo 8 and a Venator. You may notice that a Goliath Truck (upper left) is following the first Chimera. Miscommunication lead to only one Chimera being brought to the fight, so the Goliath is filling in...
PDF troopers disembark from the lead Chimera, while a group of Neophyte Hybrids have done likewise from the Cargo 8. Casualties are inflicted upon the PDF troopers while the Cultists lose a Quad...
The second Squad PDF disembark as well and both squads take casualties while they in turn drop some of the Neophytes. The die (4) on top of the Chimera is the number of hits it has taken. It may seem like a lot, but the Cultists have thrown everything they had at it and had terrible rolls so far...
Another Cultist Quad is destroyed while the Sentinel charges the Ridgerunner that is armed with rockets...
Heavy casualties on both sides with explosions rocking Cultist Quads and a Ridgerunner. Can the PDF win out? But wait, are those Aberrants! (upper right)...
The last Neophytes go down, and there are only three PDF troopers still standing, but the Aberrants charge and destroy a Chimera (aka Goliath)...
One Aberrant is brought down but a lone trooper finds himself directly in the path of the Aberrants, and is cut down...
Even armed with a Plasma Gun. the trooper didn't stand a chance...
After numerous turns of blazing away at each other and locked in melee, the Cultist Ridgerunner finally brings its opponent down, the last Chimera decides that caution outweighs valor, and retreats from the battlefield! Yet another success for the Genestealers...
The Campaign continues...
